Not guessed. On LPG the correct figures differ from natural gas, which is exactly why it needs somebody qualified on the fuel rather than somebody having a go.

Checked against the manufacturer figure for LPG. Running outside it wastes gas you are paying a premium for and shortens the life of the boiler.

The bit a mains service does not have. We check the regulator and the run from the tank or bottles, because supply problems show up as boiler problems.

Checked for soundness. A failed case seal is a safety issue, not a cosmetic one.

Flue checked for spillage, ventilation checked against what the appliance needs, and the condensate route checked for the fall that stops it freezing in January.

You are told plainly how the boiler is doing. Anything needing attention comes with what, why and what it costs, with no invented urgency.
