WHAT AN LPG INSTALL INVOLVES

Sizing on LPG follows the same rule as mains: radiators at roughly 1.5 kW each against your hot water demand. What also matters is the supply, because an undersized regulator or run will starve a boiler that is fine on paper.

LPG burns differently to natural gas. A boiler destined for LPG needs the correct injectors and settings, either factory-set or converted with the manufacturer’s own kit. It is not a setting you eyeball.

We look at the regulator, the run to the property and the condition of what is already there. There is no point putting a new boiler on a supply that will not feed it properly.

Flue routing, terminal position and ventilation are checked exactly as they are on mains gas, because the safety case is the same.

Off-grid properties often have older systems that have never been cleaned. The system is flushed and a magnetic filter goes on, which most manufacturers now require for the full warranty anyway.

You get a fixed installed figure before anything is booked, and the warranty is registered on the day rather than left to you.
